The Cliffs of Moher
Featuring incredible 200-metre cliffs against which the Atlantic continuously pounds, the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare offer a picturesque landscape and a fresh, enlivening breeze. Stand near the edge (but not too near), and you’ll see along the shore for miles and miles.
Dunguaire Castle
Another of the many magnificent sites you’ll see is Dunguaire Castle in County Galway, which heralds back to the 16th century. Sitting on a rocky outcrop on Galway Bay, its imposing facade sits a short distance from Kinvara Village and offers many great photo opportunities.
Dingle Peninsula
If you’ve got an appetite for wonderful scenery, Dingle Peninsula in the South West will certainly slake that thirst. Presenting spectacular views that look like they’re lifted from a painting, the area also has great beaches, a distillery and even an ocean wildlife sea park!
The Bentee Loop
Just across the water in County Kerry, you’ll find the Bentee Loop, which offers a super hike! It is a steep hike, but it’s well worth it, as the 360 degree views you get of the Iveragh Peninsula are truly mesmerising. It represents the very best of outdoor life.
